Project description: design and fabricate two complete waste handling systems for the space limited loading dock area.
Challenges overcome:
- Designing an undercarriage for all systems that would fit the local (European designed) roll-off trucks.
- Overcoming the low ceiling heights and the inability for roll-off trucks to load the compactors directly onto the rails.
- Designing a fool proof safety system that would protect the operators/staff during all stages of the operation including loading of the waste and the removal of the systems for dumping purposes.
- Ensuring that all of the equipment would fit into an absolute minimum of standard shipping containers without adding any additional assembly time on site.
